From the deserts of Kutch in Gujarat, comes an exquisite form of art known as the Kutchi Embroidery. For centuries, artisans from the local rural community have been involved in using Kutchi embroidery to make various items such as bags, jackets, footwear and even jewellery. This beautiful handbag has been handmade by the skillful hands of women of the Pathan community in Kutch. This style of Kutchi embroidery is called Neran embroidery, which is known for its small stitches and extensive use of mirrors.
