This food safe, non toxic container is handcrafted from Sabai, a perennial grass that grows in West Bengal & Orissa. Use it for serving Rotis/ Flat breads/Poppadums/Idlis and more. Sabai grass or Babuii as it is locally called, is known for its sturdiness. Interestingly, Babuii was considered to be so strong that the British Army in India used this for pulling their artillery! The bamboo used for the lid is handcrafted by artisans of East-Midnapore.
Care instructions : Clean with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly in shade. Store away from dust, moisture and excessive sunlight.
